FAR OUT!
So so so busy, my life is stupid crazy sometimes.
2:30am has been my bedtime for over a week now, and I am SO not loving it!
I'm not complaining. Honest. I chose this life.
But it's HARD.
I really really want to be able to stay at home with Sharna. I want to be available to pick K up from school.
But I also want to earn a living. I want work with adults. I want to be useful outside the home.
I DO actually HAVE IT ALL. In theory my life is sweet.
I have a creative job I love, I make bloody good money working from home part time. And I get to spend my days with my beautiful baby.
But I am starting to lose it! I want my nights back! Once the girls are in bed I'd love to 'turn off" and sit in front of the tele. Or scrapbook! But that is when my working day starts. 8pm until at least midnight I am on the computer. I never planned on working quite so many hours, but I'm going with the flow, building a (mammoth) clientele and preparing my business for the day that Sharna starts school and I can have my nights back.
It's a sweet sweet thought!

4 different patter papers, 5 flowers, 6 buttons and a transparency. Give it a go! You have ALL MONTH! (I have since journalled, but am too busy/lazy to re photograph it! LOL)

I love that layout. Are they Sassafrass papers?
Work/life balance is hard at the best of times, let alone with young children. Don't work yourself too hard :). You want to make sure you still have the energy when you eventually DO have the time.

Sorry you are working so hard at the moment..its hard trying to keep all those balls in the air...I guess we have to keep focussing on the end result.

oh nic..i hear you. i have a similar problem with the late nights (not so much with the making a good living from it! LOL!)its so hard when you are focussing on what you want for your future and trying to live for today with your little ones. I wish you all the best for the challenge of balance. and that layout is gorgeous too!!!
i love that page so much! the yellow is so fun and summery (and anything summery is good in my books, im so over winter right now!) wowee you sound buisy, have no idea how you function on that little sleep! every time i see your blog it reminds me that i need to scrapbook more often, lucky i have new photos, off i go
