Sparkle and Shine!

For this week's Krafty Challenge, our hostess is the amazingly talented Michelle and she has asked us to create a card using a KKS stamp and some sparkle and/or shine! YAY! So much fun to play with! Just make sure there's something sparkly or shiny on your creation....and a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp of course and you could win one of the new Christmas nativity images plus a sentiment!

For the glittery aspect, I just couldn't go past one of the beautiful angels - I had so much fun with the sparkle, it is quite possible I went overboard!

For this cutie I raided my barely-used stash of kindyglitz. Gold in her hair, pink on her dress, clear for her wings and silver on the horn.


I also added a Prima sparkly flower and some awesome glittery leaves I have in my stash that came from a $2 shop!

And a close up to show the true extent of the glitteriness on the image - please don't judge me - it is way too easy to get carried away with this criteria - I dare you! Unfortunately I was, for once, happy with my colouring originally but the glitter all but obscured my careful shading! I think it was worth it though! The sparkle is FUN!


I used my fave out of the box technique and my Copic ABS to add some clouds to my stamp's background. Papers are from the gorgeous Victoria Garden pad I can't get enough of!
